Duties you will be responsible for:

• Build and sustain long-term relationships with primary care providers, APPs, and specialty referrers
• Serve as the primary point of contact for referring offices regarding GI services, providers, and access
• Conduct regular in-person and virtual office visits focused on listening, education, and issue resolution
• Clearly communicate GI provider expertise, subspecialty focus (e.g., IBD, hepatology, advanced endoscopy), and referral
pathways
• Identify and resolve barriers to GI access, including appointment availability, procedure scheduling, prior authorizations,
and prep coordination
• Advocate internally to ensure timely office visits, procedures, and follow-up care
• Facilitate smooth coordination between referring offices, GI clinics, endoscopy centers, and hospital partners
• Ensure referring providers receive timely consultation notes, procedure reports, pathology results, and follow-up plans
• Act as a problem-solver when referring providers experience service issues
• Escalate concerns appropriately and follow through to resolution
• Identify recurring pain points and collaborate with leadership to improve workflows and patient experience
• Support consistent, reliable communication standards across the GI practice
• Support growth through service excellence, responsiveness, and relationship trust
• Assist with onboarding and integration of new GI physicians and APPs
• Promote new services, technologies, locations, or expanded access in a consultative, educational manner
• Coordinate providers meet-and-greets, educational lunches, and GI-focused updates for referring offices
• Track referring provider interactions, feedback, and issues in CRM or referral tracking systems
• Monitor access metrics such as time-to-appointment and procedure turnaround
• Share insights and trends with leadership to support continuous improvement
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback regulations at all times

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in physician liaison, GI practice management, healthcare operations, or provider relations
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, EMR navigation (view-only), and Microsoft Office
