Raleigh Medical Group, P.A. is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Internal Medicine/Primary Care team.  The APP will provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care by evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic conditions while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Perform preventive health examinations, Medicare Annual Wellness Visits, and age-appropriate screenings.
  • Obtain patient histories, perform physical examinations, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions in accordance with applicable laws and clinical guidelines.
  • Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice and competency, including DOT physicals as applicable.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare providers.
  • Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Participate in quality improvement, population health, and value-based care initiatives.
Qualifications

Required:
 

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant/Physician Associate program.
  • Current North Carolina NP approval to practice or North Carolina Physician Assistant license in good standing.
  • Current national certification appropriate to profession (AANP/ANCC or NCCPA).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a medical practice, including one to two years practicing as an Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
