Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Rocky Hill, CT! 

 

Reporting to a team or unit leader, an individual whose primary responsibility includes customer service duties for customer accounts and transactions, in support of the production of the business. 

 

How You Will Contribute: 

 

  • Build, expand and solidify relationships with clients at all levels within the company and lead appropriate resources to address the client's needs, including risk and the identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues. 

  • Manage and retain existing business of books. 

  • Continuously achieve all audit and performance standards as outlined by leadership. 

  • Follow-up to address customer needs and resolve any problems or issues. 

  • Manage and maintain an agency management system with current required information and documents on an ongoing basis, including all IO requirements.  

  • Process daily mail and tasks, including faxes and e-mail, for assigned accounts. 

  • Answer and process all telephone requests for assigned accounts. 

  • Prepare billings and/or invoices in a timely manner. 

  • Manage the FRQ process. 

  • Responsible for the end-to-end client service process such as marketing and updating agency management system with final required documents. 

  • Review Backwards Expiration Report, expiration reports, and daily download. 

  • Prepare customer renewals, including proposals and presentations, while ensuring agreement with customer’s requests / requirements. 

  • Meet with clients / walk-ins in the office as needed / upon request.  

  • Attempt to generate new business activity and account rounding. 

 

Licenses and Certifications:  

 

  • CT Property & Casualty Producer License 

 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful: 
 

  • High School diploma  

  • 2+ years functioning in Personal Lines department at an agency or company level is (preferred) 

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite 

  • Exceptional telephone demeanor 

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality 

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred and/or extensive insurance experience (preferred)

Pay Range

$30.29 - $32.69 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
