Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Analyst with a focus on performance testing. As a Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our applications. You will work closely with the development team to identify and address any issues or defects in the software. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web and performance testing, as well as proficiency in various testing methodologies and tools.


Responsibilities:

· Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks, assess system responsiveness, and ensure the application's stability under various loads.

· Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on project requirements.

· Identify and report defects, issues, and risks in a clear and concise manner.

· Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and troubleshoot issues, as well as verify fixes.

· Document test results, track defects, and maintain accurate testing records.

· Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

· Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in web and performance testing.


Skills and Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance/Load testing of microservices and web application

· Experience in analysing CPU utilization, Memory usage, Network usage.

· Strong knowledge in programming language such as Python

· Strong knowledge in testing tools and frameworks, such as Pytest, Allure.

· Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter, Postman or any open source performance testing tool.

· Experience in AWS –S3, Cloud watch, Data Dog

· Strong knowledge of Lambda, Kafka, Kubernetes

· Familiarity with SQL and the ability to write database queries.

· Solid understanding of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking in JIRA

· Ability to analyse system requirements and translate them into test cases.

· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
