About Everything Bagel Partners LLC

At Everything Bagel, we build and support breakthrough brands that disrupt categories and captivate audiences across digital, social, and beyond. Our brand team leads strategy and messaging for some of the most exciting startups and scaling companies across wellness, beauty, CPG, and education and more. We believe in brand-building that’s strategic, deeply human, and creatively fearless.

Everything Bagel is looking for a sharp, concept-forward Performance Creative Strategist to join our creative team. This role is all about pairing data with storytelling — turning platform insights, trend patterns, and product truths into performance-driven ads that convert.

As a Performance Creative Strategist, you’ll lead ideation and execution of direct response creative across Meta, TikTok, and other paid platforms. You’ll become the strategic lead for a book of brands — mastering their tone and messaging, identifying creative opportunities, and crafting campaigns that are clear, clever, and conversion-driven.

This role is ideal for someone who’s just as comfortable dissecting data as they are pitching hooks and shaping visuals — a strong hybrid of creative thinker and creative operator.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Concepting
  • Own creative strategy across a portfolio of DTC brands — becoming an expert in each brand’s voice, customer, and value props
  • Use platform insights, consumer psychology, and trend analysis to develop performance-led concepts
  • Conduct competitive research using tools like Magicbrief, TikTok trend trackers, Meta Ad Library, etc.
  • Identify content gaps and propose actionable creative roadmaps
  • Align with internal teams (Growth, Copy, Video) to shape cross-channel messaging strategies
Copy & Creative Development
  • Write or refine ad copy: in-ad headlines, hooks, CTAs, and Meta primary text
  • Distill long-form messaging into crisp, scannable, and high-converting copy
  • Ensure all messaging aligns with brand voice, product positioning, and platform requirements
  • Collaborate with copy and video teams to develop messaging-aligned scripts and shot lists
  • Maintain consistency and clarity across copywriting, strategy docs, and client-facing deliverables
Production, QA & Delivery
  • Write clear, actionable creative briefs for static, animated, and video assets
  • Collaborate with design and video teams to ensure visuals align with strategy and messaging
  • Lead QA for all creative assets — reviewing layout, copy placement, specs, and brand consistency
  • Send and manage client approvals; incorporate feedback while maintaining project momentum
  • Present weekly reports to clients on creative strategy, upcoming campaigns, testing insights, and performance trends

Qualifications
  • 2–4+ years in creative strategy, direct response, or paid social creative development
  • Strong ad copywriting instincts with a proven ability to write punchy, conversion-focused messaging
  • Solid understanding of Meta and TikTok ad formats and performance levers
  • Comfortable leading projects from research to briefing to QA and client review
  • Excellent communicator with experience presenting to both internal teams and clients
  • Familiarity with tools like Asana, Slack, Google Docs, Magicbrief, or similar workflow systems
  • Graphic design experience not required — but you should be able to spot visual red flags or missed opportunities

Format & Structure
  • Role Type: Part-Time Contract
  • Team: Reporting to the Creative Director, collaborating with Copy, Design, Video, and Growth

Why This Role Matters

Performance creative sits at the intersection of storytelling and scale. This role ensures our clients’ creative isn’t just on-brand, it’s built to move. You’ll help bring ideas to life with speed, clarity, and creative integrity, all while keeping a pulse on what’s working, what’s not, and what’s next.
