Job Description/Responsibilities

As a Performance Capability Lead - Distributor, you will be responsible for developing onboarding and training to top 10% of distributors in person & remainder via broad based digital roll out, completes in-market auditing of curriculum/SOPs to drive adoption and improvement, develops and trains team on core tools and resources, reinforces/coaches against SOPs, leads monthly skill pill training, collaborates with the divisions to ensure specific state relevancy, wires and collaborates with the L&D team leads from the distributor. 


Location: Remote with up to 50% travel (must live in 1 of the states listed on the job posting)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Aligns with DVPs to prioritize capabilities for distributors. Leads Monthly Skill Pill Training to develop capabilities and educate distributor field teams to drive results. 
  • Design and deliver training, tools, and resources that drive growth of our brands and business with the distributor network.
  • Develops Onboarding and Training to Top 10% of Distributors in person & remainder via broad based digital roll out. Align training to our strategic initiatives and work closely with the divisions to customize and ensure relevancy.
  • Create partnerships with the Learning & Development functions of our Distributor Partners. Completes In-Market Auditing of Curriculum/SOPs to drive adoption and improvement.
  • Manage and Measure the effectiveness of the training, tools and resources to ensure a return on our investment.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to develop KPIs for distributor team and train against them.
  • Coach teams in market to achieve KPIs and develop trainees to drive for results. Track and report key milestones in training. Use relevant systems to document results.
  • Manage a KPI measuring system which captures all critical metrics and deliverables to drive success for the sales team within their assigned territory. Example: Monitoring and tracking targeted retail accounts on assigned brands using Idig and COGNOS. Also, closely measure each distributor trainee’s progress through the onboarding and training programs.
  • Partner with Distributor Leaders and ABA Lead to create alignment, inform on training completed, and share impact and results. Completes in market work-with’s to embed training, tools, observe, and measure results.  
Qualifications/Requirements

Must-Haves

  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in process design, implementation and improvement

Preferred

  • Experience in alcohol beverage industry or cpg overall
  • Change management experience
  • 1 year experience training in a sales & marketing environment
  • 3 years training, coaching, and curriculum development.

The annual salary range for this role is $86,534 - $129,800. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal pay equity considerations. Roles within our Commercial and Sales team may be eligible for additional compensation, such as car allowance, cell phone reimbursement, commissions, and/or annual bonuses. Please ask your recruiter for more details about the total package for your role.
