Position Title: Functional Consultant – PeopleSoft FSCM – Application Support
Location: Boston/Remote.
Term: Long term (3 years)
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert and functional expert in the PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain (FSCM) business areas such as Record to Report, Order to Cash or Procure to Pay
- Triage tickets and service request based on service workflow, resolve tickets within SLA (target response and resolution times) and assign tickets to the development team as required.
- Provide daily production support for at least 4 of these modules – (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Inventory, Cash Management, and Commitment Control)
- Work closely with the Service Delivery Manager and Engagement Manager and provide updates on incidents and service request tickets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues including configuration errors, batch job failures, integration issues, and data inconsistencies
- Perform testing of the functionality once development team have worked on the tickets.
- Work with business users, as appropriate, to understand issues, requirements (for enhancements) and create specification documents.
- Work on design, and monitor the development, and perform system testing for incident resolutions and enhancements to the application.
- Employ best practices in defining requirements, assessing client requirements, and determining optimal solutions for customer’s business problems.
- Establish strong relationships with customer’s business and IT stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor to the customer.
- Analyze PUM releases and provide an overview of features and functionality introduced by the PUM.
- Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and other vendors for successful project outcomes.
Required Skills
- Minimum 15 years of work experience in PeopleSoft Financials & Supply Chain (FSCM) modules
- Expertise in any 4 modules and broad knowledge of other FSCM modules (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Inventory, Cash Management, and Commitment Control, eProcurement)
- Proven experience in supporting PeopleSoft applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage expectations of different project stakeholders
- Have a proactive approach to problem solving
- Experience working in an SLA driven environment
