This role is for a PeopleSoft Developer with State Government expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining PeopleSoft applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Development:

    • Design and develop custom solutions using PeopleTools, including Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker.

    • Create and modify reports using SQR, PS Query, nVision, and BI Publisher.

    • Develop and maintain interfaces between PeopleSoft and external systems.

  • System Maintenance and Support:

    • Provide ongoing support for PeopleSoft Financials modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Commitment Control (KK).

    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system performance, integrations, or customizations.

    • Perform system upgrades and apply patches to ensure compliance with Oracle standards.

  • Data Management:

    • Support data migration processes from legacy systems to PeopleSoft.

    • Write SQL queries for data analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting purposes.

    • Ensure data integrity during system integrations and migrations.

  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with functional analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

    • Collaborate with testing teams to validate system functionality during SIT and UAT phases.

    • Document technical designs and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.

Required Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in PeopleSoft development using PeopleTools (Application Engine, PeopleCode, Component Interfaces).

  • Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials modules in version 9.2.

  • Proficiency in SQL, SQR, PS Query, nVision reporting tools.

  • Familiarity with integration technologies such as Integration Broker or REST APIs.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience working on hybrid ERP solutions integrating legacy systems into modern platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

  • Strong debugging skills to identify and resolve system issues efficiently.

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Certifications such as Oracle/PeopleTools Certified Expert are preferred.
