Skeletons, lasers, monster trucks — the Torq brand grabs attention like nothing else in cybersecurity. And we’re growing like crazy, with $70M in Series C funding, 200% employee growth, and 300% revenue growth in 2024. Fueling Torq’s growth are our game changing agentic AI security solutions, backed by a team and culture that makes Torq one of Forbes’ Best Startup Employers in America, and a Business Insider ‘startup to bet your career on’.

Life at Torq is all gas, no brakes. We’re a team of relentless, collaborative go-getters pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for security automation. Every role is an essential driver of Torq’s success as the AI-native autonomous SecOps platform of choice for security teams across the Fortune 500. Excited about our vision and ready to make an impact as we grow? We’d love to see what you can bring to the team.

We’re looking for a hands-on People Operations & Total Rewards Manager to build and elevate the systems, programs, and processes that power Torq’s growth. You’ll own our US benefits, perks, and leave programs, support compensation strategy, and strengthen the operational backbone that enables a seamless Torqer experience.

What You’ll Do

Total Rewards

  • Own and elevate Torq’s US benefits and perks, including vendor management and annual renewals
  • Research, benchmark, and propose competitive TR offerings that support a distributed, high-growth workforce
  • Manage end-to-end leave administration (FMLA, ADA, state programs, parental leave), including return-to-work support for employees and managers
  • Serve as the go-to expert for benefits questions, escalations, and QLEs; ensure compliance across ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and state requirements
  • Lead audits, notices, and documentation
  • Support compensation strategy through benchmarking, market surveys, modeling, and insights that guide pay decisions

People Operations, Systems & Compliance

  • Build and maintain scalable People processes that support every stage of the employee lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state labor laws and documentation standards
  • Maintain HRIS systems (Bob, ADP), including configuration, workflows, improvements, and data hygiene
  • Drive automation and process improvements that increase accuracy and reduce manual work
  • Partner with Finance & Legal to keep payroll, benefits, and compliance data tightly aligned
  • Serve as a trusted resource for policy and People Operations questions
  • Support operational readiness for future scaling needs

What You’ll Bring

  • 5-8+ years in Total Rewards, People Ops and/or hybrid HR roles
  • Deep expertise in US benefits, leave programs, and vendor/broker management
  • Strong analytical skills - you’re comfortable in spreadsheets and modeling
  • Hands-on experience with benchmarking and HRIS systems (HiBob, ADP, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of multi-state compliance and People Ops best practices
  • High ownership, precision, and follow-through - you like getting things right
  • Natural curiosity and an interest in digging into data, workflows, and process improvements that improve the employee experience

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • You’ll help build the operational systems that power Torq’s People function and Torq’er experience
  • You’ll have real ownership and autonomy to improve processes and programs from start to finish
  • You’ll have exposure to a global team and fantastic teammates
  • You’ll have a growth path into Ops, TR, Systems, or People leadership
  • You’ll help shape a scalable, high-performing People engine as Torq continues to grow

As an equal opportunity employer, we are committed to a team defined and empowered by diversity. We consider qualified applicants without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status or disability status.

By submitting your application, you acknowledge that Torq will process your personal data in accordance with Torq’s Privacy Policy.
