The Trellix Internship Program is designed to educate and develop the next generation of cybersecurity talent while supporting key functions and initiatives within the organization. This opportunity will build knowledge of cybersecurity products and services while developing technical, professional, administrative and business acumen, communication skills, and internal and external networks.

About the role: 

Trellix is seeking a Payroll Intern. This is an exciting opportunity for any student pursuing a career in Business or Finance. The Internship is a 12-16 week program open for rising college sophomores through postgraduate to build organizational and product knowledge. In each week, you will work on projects critical to Trellix’s growth. During the program, you will:

  • Interns will receive mentoring and guidance by leaders, and the opportunity to evaluate their own skills. 

  • The role provides the opportunity to develop foundational knowledge in various processes and systems.

  • The intern is expected to apply academic learning and previous work knowledge to business practices through project-based contributions aligned with needs of the organization.

  • The Intern will work with Trellix US payroll team and will gain practical experience in payroll, employee relations and payroll tax.

  • Responsibilities will include contributing to various elements of the payroll operation and assisting with State and Local tax account reconciliation.

  • The intern will learn and become proficient navigating Trellix internal software systems, including Workday, ADP, and Immedis Global Software.

  • The intern will assist with a wide range of duties to support the day-to-day tasks and payroll requests by engaging with payroll business partners or vendors via incident ticket or Google Meet.

  • Gather tax stats that will feed analytics reports via ADP smart compliance and State agency website.

Compensation:
This position pays a $25 per hour. The rate will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs.
