About the Job: 

Radicle Health is looking for a Payroll & HR Systems Specialist. In this role, you will keep the People Ops engine running day-to-day, owning payroll accuracy, HRIS data integrity, and the operational nuts and bolts of onboarding, offboarding, and contractor management. You will be the first stop for employees with payroll or system questions and work closely with Finance, IT, and the People team to keep processes compliant, efficient, and user-friendly. This is a detail-heavy, service-focused role that ensures every transaction behind the scenes supports a smooth employee experience.

Who you are: 

  • 2-4 years in payroll or HR operations, ideally in a multi-state environment. 
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS/payroll platforms and reporting tools. 
  • Working knowledge of payroll tax compliance, wage/hour laws, and basic benefits administration. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. 

What you’ll be responsible for: 

  • Payroll Administration – Process semi-monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy of hours, deductions, garnishments, and compliance with multi-state payroll tax laws. Coordinate with Finance to reconcile payroll entries and resolve discrepancies. 
  • Systems Administration – Manage the HRIS (Paylocity), ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security. Configure workflows, maintain system permissions, and provide reporting to Finance, People Ops, and other departments. 
  • Onboarding & Offboarding – Own end-to-end operational execution for new hires and terminations, including offer letter coordination, I-9 verification, systems access, and final pay compliance. 
  • Contractor Management – Process contractor agreements, ensure proper documentation, and coordinate invoicing/payment cycles in alignment with company policy. 
  • Employee Support – Serve as first point of contact for inquiries, resolving issues promptly and escalating as needed. 
  • Compliance Support – Partner with the Total Rewards & Compliance Manager on compliance audits, benefit enrollments/changes, and policy rollouts. 
  • Process Improvement – Identify and recommend opportunities for streamlining payroll, onboarding, and HRIS processes to improve accuracy and employee

Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. More information about the salary range specific to your working location and other factors will be shared during the hiring process.
