Responsibilities: 

  • Review and process player withdrawals across platforms such as PayPal, Paysafe, Worldpay, and PayNearMe.
  • Monitor cash balances across all payment accounts and ensure timely reconciliation.
  • Download, review, and respond to chargeback cases; calculate and track associated fraud costs.
  • Investigate and respond to payment-related issues, including discrepancies and failed transactions.
  • Monitor real-time fraud alerting tools and respond promptly to suspicious or high-risk activity.
  • Analyze player deposit and withdrawal behavior to identify patterns of fraud or abuse.
  • Collaborate with Product to refine fraud rules and prevention strategies.
  • Track and report on key payment and fraud performance metrics.
  • Manage and prioritize payment-related tickets in Jira.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all payment and fraud-related matters.
  • Maintain and evaluate vendor relationships; explore and implement new payment features and methods.
  • Be available during off-hours to address urgent payment or fraud issues.
  • Drive the overall payment and fraud strategy, including the selection of tools, vendors, and policy design.

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience in payments and/or fraud operations, ideally in a regulated gaming environment. Strong preference for backgrounds in daily fantasy sports or real-money sports.
  • Familiarity with DFS or regulated iGaming environments, including KYC, AML, and chargeback procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of payment processes and payment platforms such as PayPal, Paysafe/Netbanx, Worldpay, PayNearMe, Xpoint, Jira, Confluence, and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Demonstrated success in managing vendors.
  • Experience analyzing fraud KPIs and developing reporting for technical and executive audiences.
  • Openness to work nights and weekends to address urgent payment and fraud-related matters. 

Our target compensation for this role is between $55,000 and $65,000, depending on experience. If your compensation expectations exceed this range, we still encourage you to apply. We're a growing company, and we’re open to evaluating the level and scope of this position.
