The CDL A or B Driver operates company vehicles, transports pavement marking equipment, performs vehicle inspections, and adheres to safety policies.
TRP Construction Group, LLC is looking for a skilled Pavement Marking CDL A or B Driver to join our dedicated highway striping team. This role is key to our mission of enhancing road safety while providing precision and excellence in pavement marking. Background check, motor vehicle record (MVR), and controlled substance testing will be conducted prior to hire.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with DOT regulations and company standards.
- Transport pavement marking equipment and crew to and from job sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete related documentation.
- Assist with setting up and operating pavement marking equipment as needed.
- Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness and proper loading.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while on the road and on job sites.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating heavy trucks and/or pavement marking equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to read and understand work orders, maps, and basic arithmetic.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as necessary.
- Ability to pass background check, MVR review, and drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier loads.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods during work.
Availability:
- Monday through Friday schedule, with possible night and weekend shifts.
- Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.
