We design, build, and operate our aircraft, and offer drone delivery services on three continents. Our technology is designed to be easy to integrate into existing delivery and logistics networks, offering a scalable drone delivery solution for a broad range of businesses. Wing is a part of Google's parent company, Alphabet, and our mission is to create the preferred means of delivery for the planet. If you're ready to do the greatest work of your life, come join us.

About the Role:

Wing is looking for a Business Development Lead to join our Strategic Partnerships team. This remote role, based in the United States, needs an exceptional leader with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a proven track record of building and growing relationships with major global companies. The ideal candidate will have deep experience creating and executing successful account growth plans, handling complex commercial deals, and making sure key enterprise accounts succeed long-term. While the main focus will be the US, this role might also manage accounts globally.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and grow a large portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts across retail, restaurants, healthcare, real estate, and technology.
  • Create and carry out specific account plans to drive expansion, keep partners, and increase Wing's value within existing relationships.
  • Be the main contact and trusted advisor for executive-level stakeholders in your assigned accounts, understanding their changing needs and making sure Wing's solutions fit perfectly.
  • Find and act on big opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Wing's services by truly understanding how partners operate, what their strategic goals are, and their pain points.
  • Work closely with internal Wing teams to ensure smooth integration, excellent service delivery, and ongoing partner happiness. This includes:
    • Working with technical teams (hardware and software) to make sure partner feedback is captured and used to keep improving services.
    • Partnering with the Operations team to ensure Wing meets partner commitments and delivers a top-notch daily experience.
    • Connecting with Legal and Finance teams on contract renewals, changes, and commercial terms.
  • Proactively identify and deal with potential risks in accounts, protecting the long-term health and profitability of partnerships.
  • Play a key role in improving our account management strategy and service offerings, using insights from partners and market feedback.

What You’ll Need:

  • 12+ years of leadership experience in account or strategic partnerships management within last-mile logistics, retail, restaurants, technology, and/or healthcare.
  • A clear history of successfully managing and growing major enterprise accounts and executive relationships in fast-growing, tech-driven environments.
  • Proven skill in developing and executing account strategies that clearly boost revenue growth and strengthen partner engagement.
  • Excellent ability to work with various teams like operations, technical, finance, and legal to ensure partners succeed.
  • A deep and detailed understanding of how partners operate, plus the ability to clearly show how Wing's solutions bring real, impactful value.
  • You are a versatile leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, action-oriented, optimistic and resilient, a strong collaborator, a problem-solver who thinks from first principles, and you're comfortable with uncertainty and risk, while always making sound judgments even with incomplete information.
