We are looking for an exceptional corporate paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn't afraid of lofty goals and different types of challenges.  MongoDB is growing rapidly and for someone to be successful in this position they must be able to work quickly, efficiently and tactically. As part of a growing legal team, this candidate must be able to work independently and as part of an exceptional and fun team.   

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in New York City, NY for our hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and file necessary public company disclosures with the SEC, including Section 16 filings
  • Draft and administer board and stockholder resolutions and consents
  • Assist in preparation for shareholders’ meetings, including proxy statement disclosure
  • Maintain corporate files
  • Assist with the maintenance of international subsidiary companies
  • Review and negotiate nondisclosure agreements
  • Assist in due diligence in connection with M&A or financing transactions
  • Liaise with internal legal team, external lawyers and service providers 
  • Assist with international equity administration 

Requirements

  • Smart, passionate and driven
  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant qualification/accreditation 
  • 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience
  • A proven record of success in-house and/or at a reputable law firm
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

$67,000$132,000 USD
