We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Paper and Disposables Category Manager to oversee and manage our paper and disposable product categories. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of procurement strategies, supplier relationships, market trends, and cost management to optimize product sourcing and ensure the availability of high-quality materials. As the Category Manager, you will be responsible for shaping the category strategy, managing vendor partnerships, and driving efficiency within the supply chain.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Category Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy for paper and disposable products, aligning with organizational objectives and ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and sustainability.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring the best terms for pricing, delivery, quality, and service. Build strong partnerships to foster long-term collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, price fluctuations, and new product innovations. Adjust the category strategy as needed to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Cost Optimization: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve margins, and ensure maximum value for the company.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the supply chain team to maintain optimal inventory levels of paper and disposable products, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries and minimizing stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Product Selection & Innovation: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, etc.) to select new paper and disposable products that meet customer needs, quality standards, and sustainability goals.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Incorporate sustainability best practices into category management by sourcing eco-friendly products, reducing waste, and promoting responsible sourcing policies.
  • Performance Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the category, including cost savings, supplier performance, inventory turnover, and on-time delivery, and report results to senior leadership.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams (sales, operations, and finance) to ensure alignment on category goals and objectives, and to address any supply chain challenges or product-related issues.

Must have prior paper and consumables experience.


The pay range for this position is $77,000 - $110,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed, Odeko has a Total Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus, equity value and medical, financial, PTO and other benefits. Certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on market location.
