The Strategist acts as a strategic partner to our clients and internal team, ensuring media campaigns meet/exceed client marketing objectives. The ideal candidate has a passion for digital media with deep expertise in Search Activation—someone who can lead the hands-on execution of campaigns in platforms like Google Ads, Search Ads 360, and Microsoft/Bing Ads, while also serving as a strategic advisor. This role requires a balance of platform fluency, analytical thinking, and strong client communication. 

The Media Strategist will oversee and lead strategic media planning, with a strong emphasis on Search marketing. They will also act as a point of escalation and mentor for Media Specialists. 

What you'll do:

  • Plan, build, and manage multi-channel media campaigns with a core focus on Search across Google Ads, Search Ads 360, and Microsoft/Bing Ads
  • Guide Specialists on campaign implementation, pacing, and in-platform optimizations, ensuring alignment with client KPIs and industry best practices
  • Monitor search campaign performance daily; make data-driven adjustments to improve ROI, CTR, and overall efficiency
  • Present detailed analysis of search performance and provide strategic recommendations rooted in platform insights and client business objectives
  • Act as the primary media point of contact for select client accounts, providing thought leadership in Search Activation and broader performance media strategy
  • Partner with analytics and data teams to translate campaign insights into actionable recommendations

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years in a digital media, performance marketing, or ad tech environment with 3+ years of hands-on experience managing search campaigns in Google Ads and/or SA360
  • In-platform fluency in Google Ads, SA360, and Microsoft/Bing Ads; bonus for experience with YouTube, DV360, or paid social platforms
