About the Role

We are seeking a freelance Paid Media Buyer/Strategist to provide part-time support for our Media team. You will be responsible for campaign setup, management, optimization, and reporting across Meta and Google Ads, primarily. Prior experience running paid social buys on these platforms is required. Familiarity with additional platforms (e.g. TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest) is a plus.

This role will work in tandem with the Media Manager and Media Director, supporting campaign execution and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid social and paid search campaigns across Meta and Google Ads, primarily.

  • Monitor campaign performance, adjust tactics, and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Merge data from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights.
  • Build weekly reports with executive-level insights.
  • Collaborate with the Media Manager and Media Director to align campaign performance with brand goals.
Core Skills
  • Proven hands-on experience buying and managing campaigns in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads (required).

Hands-on experience with major advertising platforms’ native analytics (Meta, Google, The Trade Desk).Experience with additional social platforms (TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.), DSPs, and Publisher-direct communications is a bonus.

  • Advanced proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
  • Strong skills in data visualization tools (Sheets, Tableau, Looker Studio, etc.).
Analysis & Reporting
  • Ability to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities across channels.
  • Experience translating complex data into executive-ready recommendations.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to convey insights clearly and concisely.

The target hourly compensation for this role is $50.00 - $70.00 an hour. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
