Summary of This Role

As an experienced and proven Outside Sales Representative, the ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for driving new revenue growth in the Southeast territory for our K-12 Business Unit.

This role will work closely with our Sales, Marketing and Account Management Teams in order to achieve both individual & team-oriented goals. It will be expected that the Outside Sales Representative is efficient at articulating the MySchoolBucks value proposition, and they must thrive in a competitive sales environment. The Outside Sales Representative should also be accustomed to achieving aggressive goals and consistently performing at a high level.

What Part Will You Play?

Responsible for selling MySchoolBucks to a large number of prospective customers in the Southeast territory of the United States. This role will include a large territory that spans multiple States. Sales activities include creating and managing opportunities in Salesforce and Outreach, contributing to demand generation and customer segmentation strategies, sales presentations, webinars, attending in-person and virtual conferences, account sign-ups and merchant onboarding, contract negotiations, and working cross departmentally with other Teams in the business unit.

  • You will manage a large region of prospective customers, including school districts of various sizes, ranging from one site to hundreds of sites. You will help identify revenue opportunities and prospective clients within assigned territories through face to face meetings, telephone communications, marketing programs, and other activities as needed. You will respond to customer requests for information and host online presentations. You will identify and close additional product and/or service sales, and will work with our Account Management Team to help expand the use of MySchoolBucks with our existing clients. You will manage client relationships and expectations during the sales cycle.
  • You will maintain existing/prospective client records, in accordance with company policies, to include sales notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information, in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; currently SalesForce.com. You will keep management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
  • You will develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the K-12 & payments industry.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 Years Relevant Experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 Years Relevant Experience
  • B2B sales experience
  • Demonstrated successful performance in previous sales job

The US base salary for this full-time position is $50,000 + Commissions + Benefits. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
