Who We Are

Gravwell is a full-stack security and observability platform built for people who need answers from their data (fast!). Whether you’re securing industrial networks, monitoring operational technology, or integrating complex systems, Gravwell gives you the power and flexibility to turn raw data into real insight. Our mission is to simplify observability and security analytics across IT and OT environments, without compromise.

What You’ll Do

As a OT Customer Success Engineer, you’ll be the technical backbone of our customer success efforts in Operational Technology environments. You’ll design, deploy, and optimize Gravwell-based analytics solutions that integrate with critical infrastructure systems (collect everything). Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you’ll help customers operationalize Gravwell, troubleshoot complex integrations, and develop automations that drive real results (turn data into value).

You’ll work closely with customers, engineering, and partner teams to solve unique data challenges, often in environments where downtime is not an option. Whether you’re building automated reporting to show field equipment clock drift, debugging network pipelines, or crafting data queries for advanced detections, your goal is simple: help customers succeed and make Gravwell indispensable to their mission.

Your Responsibilities

* Partner with customers to design, deploy, and integrate Gravwell within complex OT and IT ecosystems

* Lead implementation and onboarding engagements, ensuring successful deployment and knowledge transfer

* Develop and document custom integrations, data pipelines, and automations tailored to customer needs

* Collaborate with engineering teams to test and refine integration modules, sensors, and connectors

* Create reusable detection logic, queries, and dashboards to accelerate time-to-value

* Troubleshoot Linux systems, network communications, and application integrations in production environments

* Deliver customer training sessions and technical documentation to build self-sufficiency and confidence

* Act as a technical advocate during escalations and system performance reviews

* Contribute to product feedback and roadmap discussions based on real-world customer experiences

What We’re Looking For

* 3–5 years of hands-on experience in systems engineering, DevOps, or technical support roles

* Strong Linux fundamentals: process management, networking, filesystems, and performance tuning

* Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or Perl) for automation and troubleshooting

* Familiarity with networking concepts (IPv4/IPv6, TCP/UDP) and communications in OT environments (Modbus, DNP3)

* Experience deploying or integrating log management or analytics platforms (e.g., Gravwell, ELK, Splunk)

* Understanding of system logging, data pipelines, and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills—you can explain complex systems clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

* A self-motivated, curious problem-solver who thrives in collaborative, remote-first environments

Nice to Have

* Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SELinux, and automated deployment tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc)

* Background in network debugging, flow analysis, or packet capture

* Familiarity with OT protocols, industrial sensors, or security monitoring in critical infrastructure environments

* Prior consulting or resident engineering experience in a customer-facing role

Why Gravwell?

* Work directly with mission-critical systems in real-world environments

* Autonomy to design and deliver impactful solutions with visible results

* Flexible remote work with a collaborative, engineering-driven culture

* Opportunities to shape the future of data analytics in the OT and security space

* Competitive compensation and benefits

Base Salary: $130,000 – $210,000

Remote Position (United States)
