CSCI is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Oracle Training Specialist to provide functional, technical, and training support for the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), a critical Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) based ERP system. This role involves front-line user support, issue resolution, training coordination, and documentation development within a high-paced, ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) compliant environment.
Responsibilities- Perform user account maintenance, including creation, deletion, and updates to user-defined lists
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional, technical, and integration issues related to the DAI
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues involving browsers, networks, Java Runtime Environment (JRE), and Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK)
- Execute configuration management tasks and recommend enhancements to ITIL-based processes
- Support DAI PMO Help Desk operations by developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), FAQs, and knowledge base content
- Document and update SOPs related to Oracle DBA incident/event handling and client support instructions
- Manage and resolve DAI production help desk tickets within 24 hours of submission
- Deliver training content and conduct end-user training via in-person, virtual, and computer-based training (CBT) methods
- Create user guides, FAQs, and Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) to support training and system use
- Configure and manage environments for training, testing, and business process simulations
- Develop and maintain online help resources using Oracle UPK
- Ensure help desk support staff are fully trained in DAI processes and standards across functional and technical areas
- Provide functional, technical, architectural, and compliance support for Oracle Applications and DAI capability areas
- Active DoD security clearance (Secret or higher)
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience supporting Oracle EBS training in Federal or DoD environments
- Demonstrated experience supporting DoD and Federal Oracle Shared Service Providers using Oracle EBS R12.2 or higher (e.g., DAI)
- Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
