About us:
Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $178mm of funding from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, and others.
Grow Therapy seeks a training specialist focused on facilitation and dedicated to fostering teammate growth, capability, and long-term career success through impactful learning experiences. The ideal candidate has practical experience in helping their peers meet and exceed their goals through coaching and mentoring. As a strategic resource for cross-functional operations, you will work together with team leads, managers, and subject matter experts to identify performance trends and learning needs. You will work with your Learning & Development teammates to create, update, and deliver engaging enablement programs through various modalities, including live onboarding sessions, skill development labs, group and individual coaching, and just-in-time learning resources. You will nurture a culture of continuous improvement and supportive accountability by integrating learning and feedback into daily workflows, cultivating strong relationships throughout the organization, and consistently tracking learning outcomes and engagement. Each program you promote will empower teammates to thrive, speed up onboarding and proficiency, reinforce critical skills, and contribute to a robust learning culture across Operations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver high-quality onboarding experiences for new teammates, ensuring they feel confident, capable, and connected from day one.
- Facilitate engaging, actionable live training sessions across onboarding, upskilling, and reskilling programs—virtual or in-person, including during leadership or offsite gatherings.
- Mitigate risk and improve accuracy by training staff on compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific requirements.
- Use data to identify gaps and implement training that improves billing, collections, and denial management KPIs.
- Bridge knowledge gaps between RCM and other departments, including Clinical, Billing Support, and Credentialing.
- Serve as a coach and learning partner for teammates post-onboarding, supporting them through role transitions, skill growth, and career conversations.
- Partner with team leads, managers, and quality assurance analysts to identify performance trends and learning opportunities to co-design targeted interventions.
- Support teammates in developing core competencies through group coaching, learning labs, and individual check-ins.
- Embed learning into daily workflows, enabling just-in-time learning and reinforcing key behaviors through job aids, practice, and feedback loops.
- Advocate for the learner perspective—raising themes, challenges, and successes to the Enablement and Operations leadership teams to inform priorities.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and enablement peers to create and evolve learning content based on facilitation feedback and learner needs.
- Track and report on learning outcomes, engagement, and behavioral shifts to measure impact and inform strategy.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our learning culture, recommending new facilitation formats, coaching frameworks, and peer-to-peer development opportunities.
The base compensation range for this position is $69,000 - $77,000 USD.
The base compensation for this role will vary depending on several factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, and the candidate's working location.
You’ll Be a Good Fit If:
- You have hands-on experience with practice management systems and electronic health records.
- You have a proven track record of developing and delivering RCM training to front-line staff and/or cross-functional teams.
- You have a proven ability to support team members in achieving skill growth and job readiness.
- You are passionate about teammate success and view learning as a long-term career enabler, not just a one-time event.
- You’ve previously supported customer-facing teams, especially in Tech, HealthTech, or healthcare operations, and understand the fast-paced, dynamic nature of support roles.
- You have strong facilitation skills and enjoy leading interactive learning sessions, both in onboarding and ongoing development.
- You are comfortable coaching teammates one-on-one or in small groups to help them gain clarity, confidence, and capability in their roles.
- You are energized by building meaningful relationships with learners, team leads, and managers, and are a trusted advocate for frontline success.
- You understand adult learning principles and can create psychologically safe learning environments that support diverse learning styles and growth needs.
- You’re confident navigating ambiguity, can prioritize and self-manage, and aren’t afraid to ask questions or propose new ideas.
- You value feedback as a growth tool—for yourself and the teammates you support—and use it to drive continuous improvement.
- You have familiarity with various payor types, including commercial insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and managed care.
- You are comfortable using a toolset that includes a learning management system (LMS), design tools (e.g., Canva), reporting suite (e.g., Looker), Slack, Google Suite, and Zoom to deliver and measure learning experiences.
