The company launched in 2015 with just one product; a two-part sleep system that redefined what a pillow should look like and the benefits it should provide. After receiving organic praise from celebrities, influencers and consumers alike, this product, the NIGHT Pillow, allowed us to make a name for ourselves in a unique beauty meets sleep meets wellness space. Over the last five years we have launched a variety of products, from pillowcases and eye masks to topicals and CBD products. We are proud to be female-founded and led as well as privately-owned.

THIS POSITION:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the company's total logistics. This role plays a pivotal role in ensuring that products are efficiently imported, stored, picked, packed, and shipped to customers while maintaining high levels of accuracy and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Operations Manager will oversee and manage relationships with freight forwarders, third-party logistics (3PL) partners and wholesale receiving departments.

• Responsibilities:

  • Internal and external contact for all movement of goods. Inbound and  outbound shipping (dropship and wholesale). 
  • Order fulfillment management
  • Inventory management including receiving and audits
  • Responsible for total movement of goods on time, budget and efficiently
  • 3PL Relations
  • Process improvement
  • Ensures invoicing is completed as the last step in our fulfillment process 
  • Reporting and documentation
  • Regulatory compliance

THIS POSITION:

• Reports directly to the COO 

• Requires travel to partners; both existing relationships and development of new relationships

• Individual has experience working directly with factories to deliver cost-effective, quality-controlled and timeline-driven results

• Ideally calls for 5+ years experience in supply chain/logistics/fulfillment quality assurance

• Works with Finance, Operations, Sales  on a daily basis

• 90% of job is logistics/relationship building; 10% innovation

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Proven experience in total fulfillment and logistics management
  • Expert in logistics software and systems, such as warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Understanding of e-commerce platforms and fulfillment technologies.
  • Thorough understanding of supply chain processes, including inventory management, order fulfillment, transportation, and distribution.
  • Knowledge of best practices in logistics and 3PL operations.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams, external partners, and third-party logistics providers.
  • The ability to analyze and solve complex logistics and supply chain issues.
  • The ability to negotiate contracts and agreements with 3PL providers, carriers, and other partners.
  • Proficient in project management to oversee the implementation of new logistics processes or system improvements.
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs, and compliance requirements, especially if dealing with global logistics.
