Job responsibilities
- Driving Operational deliverables across multiple product, engineering and operational areas
- Owning responsibility for product deliverable and reporting progress to senior stakeholders on project development.
- Oversee and optimize daily operational processes to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
- Apply your strategic brokerage thinking skills to identify potential scenarios, evaluate their impact and risk, and make informed decisions that directly affect departmental outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational workflows and enhance productivity across departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of operations with business objectives.
- Manage and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated expertise in overseeing and optimizing complex operational processes from inception to execution.
- Reporting to senior stakeholders project development against key milestone identifying critical issues and solutions for a path to success.
- Extensive understanding of brokerage practices, strategies, and regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate actions and mutual funds, including their processes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Solid Understanding of financial markets and investment products.
- Proactive & detailed Project Management delivery
- Proven ability to apply advanced analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills in an operations management context.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex information, including legal regulations, market trends & financial data.
- Proficiency in using software applications, digital platforms, and other technological tools to solve problems, improve processes, and effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Experience in managing a diverse team, with a focus on delegation, team building, and fostering an inclusive environment.
