As an Operations Manager at Nutmeg, you will play a crucial role in developing new products and services. You will be required to project manage senior stake holders across all areas of the business to ensure operational specifications are delivered to provide a scalable product with robust controls. You will apply your extensive knowledge of operations and change management principles, leveraging your skills in data analytics, digital proficiency, organisational. Leadership and cross-functional collaboration to drive success. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing a team, effectively delegating tasks, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and team growth while managing multiple projects.
Job responsibilities

• Driving Operational deliverables across multiple product, engineering and operational areas
• Owning responsibility for product deliverable and reporting progress to senior stakeholders on project development.
• Oversee and optimize daily operational processes to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
• Apply your strategic brokerage thinking skills to identify potential scenarios, evaluate their impact and risk, and make informed decisions that directly affect departmental outcomes.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational workflows and enhance productivity across departments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of operations with business objectives.
• Manage and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Demonstrated expertise in overseeing and optimizing complex operational processes from inception to execution.
• Reporting to senior stakeholders project development against key milestone identifying critical issues and solutions for a path to success.
• Extensive understanding of brokerage practices, strategies, and regulations.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate actions and mutual funds, including their processes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Solid Understanding of financial markets and investment products.
• Proactive & detailed Project Management delivery
• Proven ability to apply advanced analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills in an operations management context.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex information, including legal regulations, market trends & financial data.
• Proficiency in using software applications, digital platforms, and other technological tools to solve problems, improve processes, and effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Experience in managing a diverse team, with a focus on delegation, team building, and fostering an inclusive environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging creative problem-solving and the adoption of new technologies.
• Proficiency in Alteryx, with experience in designing and implementing complex workflows for data preparation, blending, and analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
