Job Overview: The Associate Director of ClinSelect will oversee the ClinSelect teams: Feasibility Engagement, Clinical Data Integration, and Client Success Managers. This leadership role is pivotal in managing strategic operations to optimize internal processes, enhance client satisfaction, and achieve organizational goals. The Associate Director will focus on meeting key performance metrics, promoting team collaboration, and driving continuous improvement across all operations within their department. A significant aspect of this role includes maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance while ensuring operational efficiency in clinical trials, positioning the organization for strategic success. This role is suited for a strategic thinker with a passion for enhancing operational processes and driving teams towards achieving business goals. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical prowess and innovative thinking, coupled with a robust understanding of the clinical trials landscape. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Oversight and Team Management: Provide leadership and direction to ensure operational excellence across the Trial Management, Clinical Trial Liaison, and Client Success teams. Manage the recruitment, training, and development of team members to maintain high performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Performance Metrics and Targets: Develop and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) for all divisions, focusing on new feasibilities, client retention, study awards, and milestone completions. Set and enforce quarterly targets, utilizing performance reviews to monitor progress and pinpoint areas needing enhancement.
  • Operational Efficiency and Process Optimization: Assess and refine operational processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure seamless team integration and communication to facilitate efficient information transfer and responsibility sharing.
  • Client Engagement and Retention: Forge strategies to increase client engagement and satisfaction, thereby boosting retention rates and expanding study awards. Analyze client feedback and collaborate with the Client Success Manager to tailor services and communication to client needs.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Uphold strict compliance with company policies and ethical standards. Implement robust quality assurance practices to maintain excellence in trial management, data integrity, and client interactions.
  • Innovation and Business Development: Encourage and support innovation within teams to devise new client engagement tactics, trial management methodologies, and operational efficiencies. Partner with the sales team to align operations with market opportunities, aiming to expand clientele and penetrate new markets.
  • Reporting and Stakeholder Communication: Regularly report to senior management on operational status, challenges, and strategic initiatives. Act as a principal liaison for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment and effective communication.
Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in clinical trial management or operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. 
  • Proven track record of managing teams and successfully meeting performance targets. 
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulations. 
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to strategize, implement, and maintain operational efficiencies. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client relations skills. 

Education/ Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in clinical trial management or operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
