Department OverviewThe Worldwide Sales Operations organization leads the strategy, development, and delivery of sales tools & processes that enable an efficient, effective selling organization. This group is responsible for everyday sales tools our sellers, customers, and partners use to drive Sales Growth, including: CRM solutions (Salesforce.com) and quoting solutions (Oracle’s Configure-Price-Quote). It is our mission to help deliver the best set of tools, data & processes that will enable our Worldwide Sales organization to drive continued sales growth.
This position is part of the Global Sales Operations & Government Affairs organization.
Job Description
Motorola Solutions is looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and driven Operations Coordinator to support the Global Sales Operations & Government Affairs team in various tasks to assist in the delivery of successful events & operational materials. This role works out of our Chicago office, with various remote days per week possible. This may fluctuate to more or less remote days per week, based on the operations schedule and as directed by management.
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for but not limited to the following:
Support the Global Sales Operations & Government Affairs team with various event-related & operational tasks
Manage day-to-day operations for customer & employee-related events between the United Center and Soldier Field
Support internal communication platforms
Proofread communications
Maintain internal operations & organization changes
Create and cross-check reports
Additional tasks as directed by management

Exceptional communications skills: work, interact and be comfortable communicating with various stakeholder groups
Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to multitask in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
Enthusiasm & desire to grow: Bring ideas and enthusiasm while always maintaining a level of curiosity and desire to learn about our business
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
Bachelor's Degree
1+ years of customer service experience
Self-starter who quickly and proactively solves challenges with minimum guidance and direction
Ability to display a sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability
Thrives in a fast-paced work environment
Experience in a customer-facing work environment required
Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Desire to grow in the event operations industry
Ability to meet physical requirements (travel, walking, lifting, long days/hours) while at onsite operation
Target Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 USD
