Site Overview
Established in 2000, the John F. Welch Technology Center (JFWTC) in Bengaluru is GE Aerospace’s multidisciplinary research and engineering center. Pushing the boundaries of innovation every day, engineers and scientists at JFWTC have contributed to hundreds of aviation patents, pioneering breakthroughs in engine technologies, advanced materials, and additive manufacturing.
Role Overview
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to integrate fuel and operational data from multiple systems (flight data recorders, fuel receipts, aircraft telemetry, dispatch systems, etc.).
Perform data profiling, validation, and quality checks to ensure accurate reporting and analysis of fuel usage.
Develop analytical datasets that empower the Fuel Team to track consumption trends, identify anomalies, and measure the impact of fuel initiatives.
Collaborate with data scientists and fuel efficiency experts to support advanced modeling, forecasting, and optimization initiatives.
Manage metadata, data dictionaries, and documentation to ensure transparency and consistency in data usage.
Provide post-deployment support and troubleshooting for data solutions, ensuring reliable operational performance.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Flight Operations, Dispatch, Engineering, IT) to align fuel data initiatives with operational needs.
Contribute to sustainability and efficiency efforts by enabling data-driven fuel conservation and emissions-reduction strategies.
