Operational Accounting Assistant

About this role:

In this role, you will:

• Perform a variety of activities related to reconciling and balancing accounts
• Research and resolve moderately complex accounting issues and exceptions
• Resolve disputes for customers, clients and vendors, related to balancing situations
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Schedule:

• Flexible schedule Monday-Friday, you personally scheduled your 40-hour work week.
• Start time from 6:00am-8:00am MST working an 8-hour shift, with a 30 minute to an hour lunch.
• Opportunities for Overtime

Training:

• You will receive in-depth on-the-job training, and coaching to learn about Wells Fargo banking products, procedures, and services.
• Training will be for 12 weeks. You are required to attend the full duration of this paid 12 weeks of training.
• We're open from Monday - Friday, 6:00am-4:30pm (MST). Your regular work schedule will be based on business needs.
• Training is 100% on site.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Operational Accounting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Payment Processing experience
• System knowledge of CSTAR, Operations Image Browser, Common Recon, Hogan, RE15
• Banking or financial operations experience
• Accounting experience
• Ability to achieve high production and quality standards
• Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to research and correspond with customers, responding to their questions and concerns with detailed information
• Ability to read and process checks
• Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations

Job Expectations:

• This position will be a Hybrid, you'll work every other week on site at: 1305 West 23rd St 2nd Floor, TEMPE, AZ 85282.
