Job Summary 
 

The Operating Office partners with GCG leadership and Senior Execs to optimize sales management, implement strategic plans and provide financial analysis. The team drives reporting of key performance metrics and system and process improvements across GCG.

The Operating Office is seeking an Associate Director to support the efforts of the Regional Sales Heads in the US.

Based in Charlotte and reporting into the Head of the Operating Office, the position will partner with senior leaders by providing up-to-date financial analysis that assists with decision making and provides valuable insights on the team’s engagement and success. The role will also involve a range of project work and operational support, requiring a blend of analytical acumen, technical expertise and effective communication.

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Support Senior Leadership: Assist with presentations and reports for internal stakeholders (senior management, investment teams, Board meetings), translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights.

  • Continuous Improvement: Lead or contribute to projects that enhance analytical tools, reporting processes, automation, and the overall quality of Operating Office financial data.

  • Collaboration: Cultivate and maintain a network of effective working relationships with colleagues across GCG, finance, technology and product management to ensure seamless information flows and communication.

  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Respond to requests from business leaders; supporting new initiatives, product launches, and strategic initiatives as required.

  • Process Improvement: Support efforts to streamline business processes by gathering feedback, mapping workflows, and contributing to the development of new tools, templates, or protocols.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the local ambassador and point of contact for all Operating Office related enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate communication to stakeholders.

  • Tracking and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators, assist with the preparation of dashboards, and support business reviews as necessary

Qualifications and attributes 

  • 3-6 years’ experience in financial services, ideally asset management

  • Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and organization skills

  • Analytical mindset, with strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and show intellectual curiosity

  • Advanced MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills essential

  • Salesforce and PowerBI experience a plus

  • Bachelor degree required

  • Team player and highly proficient when collaborating with others

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision

  • A positive, collegial attitude and a high level of professionalism
