OneStream Developer

BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting a 100% Remote Full-time OneStream Developer position (W2, 1099). Our client is a boutique consulting firm that employs consultants with unique skill sets who have an expert understanding of complex federal financial requirements, business processes, IT enabling systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Corporate Performance Management (CPM) software.

US Citizen; Secret clearance or above required


Responsibilities:

  • Perform configuration, integration, custom development, and other hands-on technical activities related to the implementation of OneStream
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Training, and Production Support
  • Assist in documenting business and financial requirements and aligning them to existing OneStream platform capabilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models, business rules, dashboards, and reports within OneStream
  • Attend daily stand-ups and provide updates on work completion, as well as estimated timelines for user stories and defects
  • Perform peer testing and validation of other developers’ work
  • Identify and escalate potential roadblocks to the lead developer or project manager
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts and finance stakeholders to clarify and refine requirements
  • Follow project standards, governance, and OneStream best practices


Requirements:

  • US Citizen; Secret Clearance or Higher required
  • Experience in a Professional Services or software development environment
  • Experience with OneStream development and implementation
  • At least 2+ years of hands-on experience as a developer working within OneStream (not solely as an end user or administrator)
  • Experience building financial models, dashboards, and reports (e.g., Cube Views, Dashboards, XF Reports)
  • Strong experience with OneStream Business Rules, including Finance, Extender, and Dashboard rules
  • Experience performing configuration, integration, and custom development within OneStream implementations
  • Experience gathering and translating business/financial requirements into scalable OneStream solutions
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across finance and technical teams
  • Proven experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and implementing financial system solutions
  • Experience with financial processes such as: Financial Close & Consolidation, Planning & Forecasting, Budgeting, and Reporting
  • Understanding of integration technologies and data pipelines (e.g., REST APIs, SQL, ETL tools, file-based integrations)
  • Experience with OneStream integrations using Data Management, APIs, or connectors
  • Experience with UI and reporting tools within OneStream (Dashboards, Forms, XF Reports)
  • Proficiency in VB.NET or .NET scripting within the OneStream platform
  • Experience configuring system integrations and data flows preferred
  • Self-motivated and capable of working tasks to completion with minimal direction
