Field-based technical sales engineer responsible for selling flexible OLED and display products, supporting accounts, addressing technical inquiries, providing demonstrations and training, resolving pre/post-sales technical issues, documenting customer requirements, and assisting installations and escalated technical support to meet territory sales quotas.

Flexzene Inc, a division of ALTTRIA Corporation, the holding company of ALTTRIX Corporation, is currently seeking a OLED Flexible Display Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team as part of the B2B Information Flexible Display Technical Sales Team! This is a field based / Home Office position. We are looking for a new team member preferably in a metro area, in or near a major city in the eastern US territory.

- Contributes to the technical sales efforts of Information Display products and services, including LED, LCD, OLED, IT Products, Software and more, by utilizing sales skills and technical knowledge to establish trust and convey product information and value propositions with current corporate customers and prospective corporate customers.
- Accepts responsibility, focus and determination to meet or exceed territory sales quota.
- Supports assigned accounts, region(s), and/or product(s) by attending sales meetings, addressing technical inquiries, assessing customer needs, conveying solution requirements, and resolving pre- and post-sales technical product issues.
- Participates in the technical training of customers, sales channel partners, solution specifiers, and internal teams (primarily sales) by conducting presentations and demonstrations on topics including; product roadmaps, new product introductions, product capabilities, competitive products/comparisons, product configuration, complementary technology solutions, technical resources, and emerging technologies/trends.
- Works with customers to problem solve LG product issues, as well as third party technology interoperability, and when necessary, gathers details and escalates field issues to appropriate internal individuals/teams.
- Attends periodic company and partner hosted sales and marketing events to provide technical expertise and labor during product setup/teardown, and during the events to engage with attendees.
- Documents and conveys Voice of Customer (VOC) for technical product-related topics, such as requirements for future products/features, to appropriate internal representatives.
- May assist in project installations and other professional services as needed.
- Providing escalated technical support for customer service for incoming/outgoing calls as necessary
- Agrees to work closely with the assigned inside sales team that will arrange and set weekly appointments to meet end user and oem companies.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical/Optoelectrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience with display electrical subsystem design, testing and implementation.
- 3+ years of experience on various high-speed serial display electrical interface standards, and particularly in MIPI and eDP protocol design, testing and implementation.
- Experience with SPI and I2C interfaces.
- Hands-on experience in AMOLED display electrical test or validation system development.
- Knowledge of display driving and optics system of AMOLED display.
- Experience in driving cross-functional projects.
- Communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Major Consideration will be given if you possess the following
- MS in Electrical/Optoelectrical Engineering equivalent experience.
- Experience with AMOLED external compensation algorithms.
- Experience with compensation algorithms development.
- Python and MATLAB coding capability for image processing.
- Experience with De-mura and de-burn in compensation for AMOLED display.
