The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Utility Analyst to work at our processing facility in Lowville, NY. Successful candidates must be willing to supply improvement suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal individuals must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Work Schedule:
Schedule is based off of a 7-day production schedule. The work hours for the position will be 6pm-6am
Plant & Community Overview:
The Lowville plant produces the legendary Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Kraft String Cheese! Built in 1971, the facility is over 400,000 square feet and houses 13 production lines. Milk and cream are supplied by local farms. With over 500 employees, the plant is one of the largest employers in Lewis County.

Job Overview:
Responsibilities & Duties:
This position will provide vacation coverage for Quality Department (including Finished Product Analyst, Bacteriologist and Hold & Release), performing allergen inspections, Purchasing, Sink validation program, calibration sampling, fork truck/inventories, cooling studies, DMC & Antibiotic testing, period work and ownership of quality programs as assigned.
- Environmental Monitoring including Equipment Swabbing and air exposures, Calibrations and Thermometers, Analytical testing including wet chemistry (Fat, moisture, Titratable Acid, pH, Salt) and microbiological monitoring and testing (DMC, Petri-film/Pour plating, environmental).
- Entering & retrieving data using SAP; disposal of finished product or raw ingredients; customer sample requests; product delivery to the lab; shipment of samples, thermometer verifications, general housekeeping, weekly period work, and other quality and sanitation duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Licenses required: Milk Receivers, Direct Microscopic Count, and Charm Antibiotic detection.
Sanitation:
Will ensure that the equipment and machinery they work with is cleaned and sanitized according to the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program rules explained at the beginning of the employment and during refresher sessions.
Quality Assurance:
Ensures all products manufactured align with the Quality Assurance Program and policies reviewed during the on the job training applicable to this specific operation function.
Safety:
Will follow the Kraft Heinz Safety Process and will keep themselves and others away from harm while performing their duties. Will adhere to LOTO policy and procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- A Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent experience or general education diploma (GED).
- Available to work all shifts including second, third & weekends and holidays
- Prior manufacturing experience is preferred
- Strong Communication Skills preferred
