Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs with Node.js and TypeScript. Integrate with frontend teams, optimize for performance and scalability, implement PostgreSQL and MongoDB solutions, follow test-driven development, participate in code reviews, and work in an agile environment to continuously deliver features.
This is a remote position.
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using NodeJS.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize backend systems for performance and scalability.
- Implement and maintain database solutions using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Use test-driven development to ensure high-quality software.
- Work within an agile team to deliver features and improvements continuously.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on NodeJS.
- Experience using Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Relational and non-relational database knowledge (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with Test-driven development.
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
- Extensive knowledge of agile methodologies.
- Good knowledge of Cloud and Security concepts.
