Job Summary/Description:

Producers: This is it, a supportive chance to showcase your producing skills, deliver compelling newscasts, and collaborate with one of the best newsrooms in Charlotte, North Carolina. WBTV is searching for a unique television newscast producer with strong editorial experience. If you’re calm under pressure with excellent writing and organizational skills, this position is a solid fit.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

- Develop creative, compelling, memorable newcasts
- Deliver creative content for all platforms
- Respond effectively to breaking news situations
- Generate story ideas through various sources; discern credible news tips
- Collaborate with technical and marketing staffs

Qualifications/Requirements:

- You must have at least 2 years of live television newscast producing experience.
- Schedule flexibility is a must. This is a full-time hourly position and may include working overnight, holidays, and weekends as well as some overtime.
