The High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) team within the Heterogeneous Integration Group (HIG) drives modern development of vertically integrated DRAM and logic technologies, enabling industry‑leading solutions for machine learning and artificial intelligence applications.
As a Design Validation Product Engineer, this role supports the development of next‑generation HBM products from early design through qualification and volume manufacturing. The position works closely with Design, Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and customer‑facing teams to ensure robust product performance and reliability through thorough validation and problem‑solving.
Responsibilities
  • Understand JEDEC specifications for HBM and contribute to internal architecture documents, schematics, and layout reviews.
  • Perform silicon validation, including hardware and software debugging, circuit simulations, and data analysis.
  • Conduct lab‑based investigations to resolve design or performance issues.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Engineering peers and multi-functional partners to ensure product readiness and performance alignment.
  • Applying creative approaches to make positive change.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience in schematic review, simulation, data analysis, lab debug, or pattern manipulation.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to use time efficiently and work productively.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coursework in VLSI, semiconductor processes, Python, or C/C++.
  • Experience with Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
  • Self‑motivation and passion for technical growth.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
