As the New Business Director you will: 

  • Win revenue for the organization. Demonstrate expertise across paid media strategy and management. 

  • Lead owned opportunities through discovery, proposal, negotiation, contract review, and onboarding. Support paid media audits and proposals. 

  • Understand the client/prospect’s underlying business challenges and needs early in Discovery and prioritize those needs in your solution design. Thread intelligent questions throughout the discussion ensuring a cohesive and appropriate story is being told. Connect with the audience through the presentation leveraging key business challenges and tying those points into the close when asking for the sale. 

  • Generate at least 20% of your pipeline through proactive efforts, whether outreach to lost prospects or clients, or cold outreach.

  • Adhere to our sales process and maintain Salesforce cleanliness, enabling informed decision-making that benefits the entire organization.

Professional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of industry experience in account management and/or Sales with a focus on retail media and/ or eCommerce. 

  • Expertise in Amazon & Retail Media Networks – You have hands-on experience with Amazon DSP, Sponsored Ads, and Retail Media platforms like Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, Instacart, and Criteo. You understand how brands should allocate budget across these channels and can confidently speak to Commerce technology solutions like Skai, PacVue, and Perpetua.

  • Strategic & analytical thinker – You can break down market trends, analyze data, and provide insights to drive new business growth. You understand retail media performance metrics and how to translate them into a compelling sales strategy.

  • Sales Cycle Management: Experience building and managing a robust pipeline from cold outreach to close while accurately forecasting revenue and managing CRM tools.

  • Presentation and storytelling: Exceptional writing and storytelling skills to craft persuasive proposals that align with client KPIs.

  • Consultative Selling: Ability to act as a strategic advisor by diagnosing client challenges and aligning solutions with business outcomes. 

  • You embody a proactive, self-motivated approach to personal growth and strive for continuous improvement in skills, knowledge, and performance.

  • You are passionate about sales and excel in a fast-paced, target-driven environment where your achievements contribute to our shared goals.

  • You possess a positive attitude and are committed to going the extra mile to deliver outstanding customer service to prospects and colleagues alike.

  • 2+ years of Sales experience preferred.  

The annual base salary range for this role's listed level is currently $95,000 - $105,000. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted up to or over (100%). Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. We will provide more information on our benefits and equity upon requests. Disclosure as required by the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, C.R.S. § 8-5-101 et seq.
