Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a multi-faceted territory plan for Vizamyl.
- Position Vizamyl as the product of choice in the PET Amyloid Imaging market.
- Identify and build relationships with top referring prescribers.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Imaging Centers and Referrers.
- Collaborate with reimbursement market access support teams.
- Work with pharmacy channel partners to meet product delivery goals.
- Understand and align with the goals of GE Healthcare's Neurology team.
- Conduct pre-call planning and in-call questioning to understand customer needs.
- Monitor territory plan performance and collaborate on next steps.
- Engage in virtual selling and cold calling to new and existing targets.
- Manage pricing strategy, price negotiation, and contract compliance.
- Forecast orders and sales for the assigned territory.
- Represent the company at healthcare conferences and seminars.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or valid and current certification through the NMTCB or AART
- 5+ years sales experience or relevant experience in a medical, healthcare, technical, pharmaceutical or Life Sciences field
- Experience selling into hospitals, contracting, and supply chain or relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Proven track record of sales success, developing, organizing and implementing sales plans, meeting and exceeding sales targets, and penetrating new accounts/markets/competitive through proficiency in prospecting, lead qualification, sales and negotiations or relevant experience in a healthcare organization leading successful adoption of new ideas, programs, or initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives while operating in compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Demonstrated communication skills, analytical skills and Nuclear Medicine/PET/pharmaceutical industry acumen
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities through effective organizational, people, and time management skills
- Must be willing to reside in the territory
- Must be willing and able to do 20% overnight travel
Desired Characteristics
- Desire to work in start-up styled business where the drive to establish and grow markets
- Prior PET radiopharmaceutical experience preferred
- Awareness of clinical tools and drive adoption is key to success
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting towards meeting established objectives
- Ability to apply a range of traditional and nontraditional problem-solving techniques to think through and solve complex issues creatively to improve performance and company effectiveness.
- Ability to build rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with employees and external contacts (i.e. MD and office staff) at all levels, demonstrating the awareness of their needs and responding with the appropriate action
