Job Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
Boost is looking for a Network Engineer to be instrumental in the engineering and operations of our 5G network's routing infrastructure, directly contributing to its success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the engineering, operations, and implementation of new network routing infrastructure essential at every DISH 5G cell tower. This role involves providing advanced technical support for network troubleshooting across BGP, MPLS, Segment Routing, EVPN, and Dark-Fiber technologies. Working with cutting-edge technologies, this position offers significant opportunities for career advancement within other networking teams supporting the 5G infrastructure, such as backbone, cloud, and automation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish requirements and provide analysis for network and service specifications, network activation, and acceptance processes
  • Effectively communicate engineering problems and potential solutions during active troubleshooting of configuration and networking issues
  • Provide technical expertise in the execution of network test, validation, and integration plans to assure network integrity
  • Independently engage with vendors to understand, test, and drive resolution of technical issues

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer Engineering
  • 1+ years of experience in large enterprise or carrier space

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Professional networking certifications a plus - CCNA or equivalent
  • IP routing(OSPF/ISIS/BGP)
  • Service Provider Networking Technologies(L3VPN/L2VPN/EVPN)
  • IP Addressing (CIDR/IPv4/IPv6)
  • Public cloud certifications a plus - advanced networking, cloud network engineer or equivalent

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,400.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
