In this role as Network Engineer – Datacenter and Campus, you will manage or perform work across multiple areas of an organization’s overall IT Platform/Infrastructure such as IT infrastructure hardware, operating systems, middleware and databases, data and voice networks, data processing operations and Infrastructure support. You will bring about change within the IT infrastructure landscape by assisting in designing and developing the IT Infrastructure roadmap for the organization by working with the global team and conduct cost/benefit analyses for proposed IT projects as input to the organization’s IT roadmap.

What You Drive at DTFS

  • Develop and ensure the long-term technology vision for regional business divisions, operating within the conceptual boundaries defined by the Technology Strategists and Technology Domain and innovation architects.

  • Support the IT Applications demands from DTFS NAFTA Region in line with latest Network Technologies. This includes facilities in USA, Mexico, and Canada.

  • Ensure adherence of Network specific solutions to enterprise architecture guidelines.

  • Evaluate innovation initiatives from Service Partners and ensure cross-alignment with other service providers.

  • Act as interface to Technology Domain & Innovation Architects and Portfolio Management to develop the service catalogue.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • BS/BA in addition to 2-4 years of relevant experience or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure in the areas of Network engineering.

  • Experience in IT Incident, Change and Demand Management.

  • IT Network designing skills with experience in Enterprise Network Technologies.

  • Hands-on administration experience with Network technologies such as SD-WAN, CISCO Network, Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 load-balancers.

  • Knowledge of and experience in Core to Edge Networking and Campus Networking.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Experience in Troubleshooting across Network Technologies listed above.

  • Experience with performance tuning and capacity management.

  • Experience in Application and Third-party Network connectivity (B2B, B2C, VPN and Business Partner Connectivity).

  • Cisco Network Professional or Cisco CCNA or CCNP strongly preferred.
