The ideal candidate will have a strong background in decoupled architectures, serverless computing, AWS cloud services and with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale migration projects from On-prem to AWS while building robust automation frameworks and seamless system integrations. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation and Integration lead to drive our digital transformation journey by designing, implementing and maintaining cutting-edge cloud-based solutions while leading a team of developers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in decoupled architectures, serverless computing, AWS cloud services and with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale migration projects from On-prem to AWS while building robust automation frameworks and seamless system integrations. This role requires strategic leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to guide organizations through complex modernization initiatives while continuously extending AWS automation capabilities and developing innovative integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities - What You'll Do:
- Design and implement robust automation frameworks using AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, etc.) to streamline operations and optimize performance.
- Lead the charge in migrating our on-premises applications to the AWS cloud, developing comprehensive strategies (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, etc.) to ensure a smooth and successful transition.
- Architect and develop scalable front-end (ReactJS, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS) and back-end (Python) services that meet our evolving business needs.
- Guide and inspire a team of talented developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu) and build robust CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and ensure continuous integration.
Essential Skills & Experience - What You Bring:
- 12+ years in software development, including 4+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Expert-level knowledge of serverless architectures, microservices, and decoupled system design.
- Proven track record of successfully migrating enterprise applications from on-premises to AWS.
Technical Prowess: Deep expertise in:
- AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, etc.)
- ReactJS, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS.
- Python
- Terraform/OpenTofu.
- CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Spacelift).
- PostgreSQL database administration.
- Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
- Experience guiding organizations through technology transformations.
Additional Skills:
- AWS Certifications (Solution Architect Associate, Developer Associate).
- Test-Driven Development (TDD) experience.
- Experience with Amazon Q.
- Datadog experience
