NetSuite Developer – AI Solutions

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Developer with a strong background in AI-driven solution development, warehouse management systems (WMS), and retail or B2C e-commerce environments. This role is ideal for a developer who can bridge business needs with technical innovation—leveraging AI technologies to automate processes, enhance decision-making, and integrate advanced applications directly into NetSuite. 

You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining custom NetSuite applications and integrations that incorporate AI/ML models, third-party AI tools, and intelligent process automation. This position requires hands-on technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, fulfillment, customer experience, and e‑commerce teams. 

Key Responsibilities 

NetSuite Development & Customization 

• Design, build, and maintain custom NetSuite scripts (SuiteScript 1.0/2.0/2.1), workflows, SuiteTalk integrations, SuiteBuilder customizations, and saved searches. 

• Develop and optimize integrations between NetSuite and external AI services, WMS platforms, and e-commerce systems. 

• Enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability across modules including Order Management, Inventory, Fulfillment, and Finance. 

• Collaborate with data teams to structure and utilize data for machine learning and predictive analytics. 

Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) 

• Build and maintain integrations between NetSuite and WMS systems including RF-SMART. 

• Support real-time inventory syncing, pick/pack/ship workflows, and warehouse automation initiatives. 

• Troubleshoot performance issues and streamline warehouse operations through technology. 

E-Commerce / B2C Environment Support 

• Work with marketing, merchandising, and e-commerce teams to improve order flow, product data syncs, promotional logic, and customer experience. 

• Support integrations with Shopify, Magento, Liftoff, or custom storefronts. 

• Optimize high-volume transaction processing and customer workflows. 

AI, Machine Learning & Intelligent Automation 

• Design and integrate AI/ML models into NetSuite workflows, using:  

• Generative AI (GPT models or similar) for summarization, recommendations, and workflow automation. 

• Predictive analytics for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and fulfillment routing. 

• NLP (Natural Language Processing) for automated extraction, classification, and document interpretation. 

• RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and intelligent process automation to eliminate manual tasks. 

• Build integrations with AI APIs using RESTful interfaces, webhooks, and middleware platforms (Celigo, Boomi, Workato, Mulesoft). 

• Collaborate with data teams to prepare structured datasets for machine learning training, validation, and production deployment. 

• Implement monitoring, logging, and quality controls for AI-enabled solutions. 

Technical Leadership 

• Ensure best practices in coding, documentation, version control, and system security. 

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for scalable, future-proof solutions. 

• Lead code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers or cross-functional partners. 

Required Qualifications 

• 5+ years of professional NetSuite development experience, including SuiteScript and SuiteTalk. 

• Experience designing and implementing AI-based solutions (e.g., OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, Google Vertex AI, custom ML models). 

• Strong background in WMS platforms and warehouse process integrations. 

• Expertise in e-commerce or B2C/retail systems, including order management and fulfillment workflows. 

• Proficiency with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, JavaScript, and modern integration frameworks (e.g., Celigo, Boomi, Workato). 

• Solid understanding of inventory, supply chain operations, and omnichannel retail. 

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, or similar platforms. 

• Knowledge of data engineering or MLOps fundamentals. 

• Familiarity with NetSuite WMS, Smart Count, or third-party WMS add-ons. 

• Background in process automation, RPA, or workflow optimization. 

• Certification: NetSuite SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer, or AI-related credentials.
