Job Description

The National Brand Manager is responsible for driving consistent profitable growth by achieving and exceeding sales objectives within designated accounts. The National Brand Manager partners with high-revenue account(s) to develop programs to achieve maximum sales volume consistent with sales projections. The National Brand Manager clearly understands the needs of the clients and provides innovative solutions that exceed their expectations.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

● Develop and implement local, national or strategic sales strategies for customers, channels, and/or large geographic areas. Coordinate business development activities with marketing and identify new opportunities and levers to expand the portfolio. 

● Responsible for clear, focused leadership to further reduce the barriers to delivering competitive advantage via global size and scale.

● Responsible for delivery of short term and long term results in order to develop and maintain the organization’s credibility with the business and creating opportunities for the function to add greater value to the business.

● Translate market trends and customer needs into actionable goals that create competitive advantage.

● Coordinate sales service with other service departments and operating areas.

● Work with prospective customers to identify unmet needs, implement initiatives to meet those needs, leading to successful sales.

● Work with marketing to formulate strategy and select key target markets. Identify prospective customers. Identify unmet customer needs. Work to identify products and processes needed to meet those needs.

● Establish pricing programs and strategies.

● Define the value proposition to the market, customers and industry including service, price and product platform strategies.

  • Manage 1-2 direct reports, if applicable. Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals. Coordinate team efforts, create and manage a regional strategy and team operating plan.

 

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.

2. 5+ years practical sales experience with quota responsibility, market development, account

planning, client engagement, etc.

3. Self-starter, driven sales professional, with strong critical thinking and problem solving capabilities.

4. Strong product knowledge of RFID and supply chain solutions is beneficial.

5. Demonstrated successful experience in a sales position that involved negotiating complex

transactions with upper-level management positions or similar experience.

6. Significant apparel industry and large retailer experience strongly preferred.

7. Skilled in developing sales penetration and growth strategies at targeted accounts.

8. Excellent financial skills and business acumen.

9. Skilled in conducting territory analysis and planning.

10. Able to provide strategic recommendations independently with little supervision.

11. Skilled in communicating effectively with all levels of management on complex business issues.
