As a National Account Manager, you will own and manage a portfolio of national and key health plan accounts, driving retention, growth, and long-term profitability. You will partner cross-functionally to ensure client satisfaction, effectively execute contracts, and achieve annual organic revenue goals.

Compensation: Based on qualifications, we anticipate the hiring range will be $85,000 -$100,000 with eligibility for additional incentive compensation aligned with company performance.

Responsibilities:

Account Strategy & Planning

  • Manage a portfolio of national and key health plan accounts, owning day-to-day relationships to drive retention, growth, profitability, and high customer satisfaction.

  • Lead account planning, renewals, and Quarterly/Annual Business Reviews to deliver performance reporting, insights, and strategic recommendations.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and Network teams to ensure contract execution, SLA compliance, and regulatory requirements (including CMS/Medicare) are met.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client business needs, proactively managing escalations and resolving complex issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Revenue Growth & Initiatives

  • Identify and drive organic growth opportunities within existing accounts by supporting member communication strategies and launching new company initiatives.

  • Support enterprise and account management initiatives by contributing insights, executing strategies, and resolving issues as needed.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, sales, healthcare administration, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 5–7 years of experience in Account Management, Account Executive, or Sales roles.

  • Proven success managing and growing a book of business with responsibility for revenue retention and renewals.

  • Experience leading business reviews, developing account plans, presenting performance data, and independently managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights, along with CRM platform experience.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience working with large health plans, payers, or a background in healthcare benefits and insurance.

  • Demonstrated success driving account expansion or upsell opportunities.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and timeline development.

  • Experience using Salesforce
