Position Overview
Responsible for overall management of their assigned clients and for maintaining a positive mutual relationship between each assigned client and Zelis. The National Account Manager will in conjunction with national accounts leadership manage a strategic book of business comprised of zelis national customers business units by achieving annual revenue targets, ensuring client retention, fostering growth with additional products and services, and maintaining high levels of client organization to ensure that Zelis’ service delivery exceeds client expectations and drives a superior customer experience.

Develop a “trusted advisor” relationship with key decision makers at all levels within the account

Assist national accounts leadership in developing a comprehensive account strategy for expanding the range and quantity of services for customer across the zelis product portfolio

Serve as a liaison between the different organizational departments and/or LOBs of Zelis and our clients to drive client satisfaction and operational efficiencies

Communicate account development plans and status to enterprise business units

Work closely with clients to intimately understand their needs and challenges

Review monthly volume at product level to manage any mitigation of changes in volume

Analyze performance results on a monthly basis to determine/confirm trends, opportunities, comptitive landscape and other variables

Responsible for risk identification such as volume decrease, service gaps, changes in client level relationships and key advocates. Escalate to director and/or vp national accounts as appropriate

Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop a strategic and tactical plans to achieve desired annual revenue and growth targets as well as achieve optimal client satisfaction

Understand zelis’ key differentiators, product strategy, product features and functionality and their applicability to client

Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to zelis standards and regarding privacy and security

Travel requirements to (primarily) domestic destinations ~40%
Location and Workplace Flexibility
We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.
