Salesforce Inc.  seeks MTS Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Formulate, implement, and evaluate algorithms for platform and application features in Java. Code in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development. Work closely with Quality Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Operations to develop, test, and deploy highly useful, high quality software. Analyze, design and develop test cases and implement automated test suites. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation that improves salesforce.com. Use cloud technologies like docker, s3 to develop software, services and Continuous integration pipelines which run on cloud platforms such as AWS. Use tools like Jenkins, Ansible and Terraform to automate the software delivery process. HQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Python; (3) Linux & Shell Scripting; (4) Multithreading; (5) SQL and NoSQL; (6) PostgreSQL; (8) Jenkins; (9) Terraform; (10) Docker; (11) Kubernetes; (12) AWS - EC2 and S3; (13) Microservices and RestAPI’s; (14) Object-Oriented Design; (15) Data Structures & Algorithms; and (16) Software Design Patterns. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $155,605.00 - $188,600.00 per annum.

For Maryland based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $188,600.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $188,600.For Hawaii-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $188,600.

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $188,600.
