We are looking for a motivated IAM Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex issues, thrives under pressure, and is passionate about operational excellence. You will play a key role in managing IAM incidents, supporting audits, and ensuring reliability of IAM services, while continuously learning and adapting to new tools and technologies in a fast-paced environment.   

Role/Responsibilities:  

  • Monitor, triage, and resolve IAM-related incidents and services requests within defined SLAs. 

  • Lead or participate in problem management and root cause analysis for recurring or major IAM issues. 

  • Support access certificate, SOX controls, and audit evidence collection for compliance reporting. 

  • Participate in and support on-call rotations for 24 x7 incident response, including weekends, and other off-hours as needed. 

  • Assist in maintaining and improving IAM platforms including Okta, Entra, Active Directory, SailPoint, CyberArk, Public Key Infrastructure etc. 

  • Apply security patches and updates across IAM systems per enterprise patching schedule and change control process. 

  • Contribute to process documentation, playbooks, and operational runbooks for IAM support.

  • Stay current with emerging IAM tools, technologies, and best practices. 

  • Embrace a continuous learning mindset, contributing to platform modernization and automation efforts. 

Qualifications:  

Minimum Requirements 

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Experience/Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management or enterprise IT with a focus on access management. 

  • Working knowledge of IAM tools such as Okta, Entra, SailPoint, CyberArk, or similar. 

  • Exposure to authentication protocols like SAML, OIDC, OAuth. 

  • Experience with incident and problem management practices. 

  • Familiarity with compliance framework (SOX, HIPPA, etc.) and audit processes. 

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills. 

Preferred Experience/Skills: 

  • Industry certification such as CISSP, CISM or Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM). 

  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python). 

  • Experience in a regulated environment (Healthcare, Pharma or Financial Services).

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$96,900 - $161,500
