Company Overview

Valimail is a fast growing, venture funded startup and the leader in Email Authentication as a Service. Here is your chance to get in on the ground floor at an important technology innovator and to help build a major business service category. We have built a revolutionary platform on top of open standards — DMARC, DKIM, and SPF — for the first time it makes it possible for any organization to protect itself against email impersonation. Valimail pioneered the notion of automated email authentication, with innovative components like our DNS-based Authenticator (including our patented Instant SPF). We’re committed to building a more trusted email ecosystem.

Frequently cited statistics show that women and underrepresented classes will only apply to roles if they feel they meet 100% of the qualifications. At Valimail, we encourage you to break through that statistic. Roles evolve over time, especially with innovation, and you may be just the person we need in the future. NO ONE ever meets 100% of the qualifications. We hope you're open to learning new skills in order to grow with us. Make our team, your team!

Position Overview

We’re looking for an experienced, highly motivated MSP Program Director to scale our managed services provider (MSP) motions and deepen our relationships across the MSP ecosystem. This role will be responsible for growing and enabling MSP partners, including through Pax8. You’ll craft and execute campaigns that drive awareness, education, and ultimately adoption of Valimail Core, our MSP-specific offering. You’ll also act as Valimail’s face in the MSP community.

This is a highly cross-functional role that blends partner enablement, go-to-market strategy, and community building. If you’re energized by building in a high-impact space, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deepen relationships within Pax8, ensuring Valimail is represented and prioritized across the organization
  • Develop and execute partner engagement programs that increase Valimail Core adoption and use
  • Collaborate with Marketing on co-marketing motions to drive awareness and lead generation across the MSP channel
  • Represent Valimail in MSP communities, such as MSPGeek, Reddit and Slack groups, actively participating in conversations and promoting thought leadership
  • Create scalable enablement content and resources for new MSPs, which help them use the product and intelligently sell it to their customers
  • Track and report on MSP program performance and surface insights, risks and recommendations to leadership
  • Identify and develop relationships with target MSPs or distribution partners who could be a good fit for Valimail

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in MSP program management or within a leading MSP distributor
  • Hands-on experience working with or at Pax8 is strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to develop programs and campaigns from scratch, and execute them independently
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to evangelize internally, within partners and among partners
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to coordinate across functions
  • Willingness to travel 10-25% of the time

Bonus Points

  • Experience in Email Security/DMARC is a plus
