Are you ready to play a key role in supporting the future of autonomous aviation?
We're looking for a Supply Chain Customer Support Specialist to join our cutting-edge Autonomous Air Vehicle Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to operational supply chain planning and warehouse operations that directly support flight test and sustainment activities.
Based primarily at RAAF Base Amberley, this role will also involve periodic travel to the remote operations range, giving you variety, challenge, and the chance to be part of something truly innovative.
What you'll be doing:
In this role, you'll help keep our operations running smoothly by:
  • Analysing post-production supply chain data to identify reorder points and quantities
  • Entering, tracking, monitoring, and coordinating customer material requirements, delivery requirements, and orders
  • Processing material returned from customers
  • Reviewing supplier and customer data related to products and services, including repair capability, capacity, and performance
  • Processing documentation for repair items and warranty claims

What we're looking for - we'd love to hear from you if you bring:
  • A solid understanding of supply chain methodology and processes
  • Previous experience in integrated logistics fundamentals
  • Demonstrated experience with aeronautical product requirements
  • A proactive approach to identifying and driving supply process improvements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Confidence using PCs, MS Windows, and the MS Office suite
  • Defence industry experience, which would be highly regarded
  • The ability to thrive in a team environment

Security requirements - to be considered, applicants must:
  • Be Australian Citizens to meet NV1 security clearance requirements
  • Meet Defence security requirements
  • Be willing to undergo the standard government vetting process, including a full life background check
  • Note that BDA will sponsor and support this clearance
