About this role
We're building out video content across web, social, and CTV, and we're looking for a hands-on motion design and video editor to help us shape it. We want someone with strong motion design chops, sharp production instincts, and genuine curiosity who can explore opportunities, pressure-test ideas, and bring structure and expertise to branded content.
Whether it’s quick-turn social cuts or a full-scale brand campaign video, you’ll collaborate with brand designers, product marketers, and growth marketers to deliver high quality visual content to elevate our brand. If you're a motion designer who enjoys building the machine as much as running it, this is for you.
What you'll do
Lead concept development, storyboarding, shooting, and editing for digital-first content across platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
Own projects end-to-end — from initial brief through final delivery — balancing creative quality, speed, and operational rigor
Design and animate visually compelling motion graphics that bring the OpenX brand to life across formats and audiences
Partner with third-party production agencies to bring campaign-level brand videos to life, offering creative direction, visual guidance, and ensuring output aligns with brand standards
Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visual stories — from sizzle reels to social teasers to explainer animations
Identify workflow improvements and apply AI-enabled tools to enhance production speed and elevate quality
Manage timelines and priorities across multiple projects while maintaining high design standards
Stay current with visual trends across the marketing and advertising industry
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience in motion design, video editing, or content creation in the B2B Tech/AdTech space preferred (agency or in-house creative team a plus)
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a solid understanding of video editing and social content tools, including platforms and workflows commonly used in motion and video production
Strong portfolio demonstrating your motion design, static content, and video production range, with an eye for design, pacing, and storytelling
Collaborative and commercially minded approach, with rigor on creative quality and the performance of video content
Exceptional organization and the ability to manage multiple productions simultaneously without losing the thread
Familiarity with AI-enabled production, editing, or workflow tools
Engagement & structure
September through December with an option to extend. We're intentionally starting this as a part-time contract (2–3 days/week) so we can build momentum together and get clarity on production volume and direction. After that we’d like to engage on a full week basis.
How to apply
Send a portfolio or reel that shows relevant work in the B2B/Tech space.
