GENERAL FUNCTION:

Manage Investor Reporting functional responsibilities and staff. Assure that both Investors and management reporting is completed in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure that Bancorp policies and standards are maintained and that employees, equipment, and materials are used properly to maximize productivity.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plans, assigns and monitors the workflow of the department to ensure that production standards are met and maintained.
  • Ensures that the department is sufficiently staffed, and that the staff is adequately trained and any cross training necessary to promote segregation of duties is complete and fully implemented.
  • Responsible for developing and coaching staff to promote high performance team environment.
  • Ensures appropriate escalation of customer service, operational and/or employee problems.
  • Monitors the attendance of subordinates and ensures accuracy of hours work prior to submitting payroll information to the payroll department.
  • Act as primary POC for all Investor Reporting related items for FHLMC, FMNA, GNMA, and private investors.
  • Ensures the efficient and timely reporting of investor statistical and financial information.
  • Ensures that reconciling items are aged and appropriately stated in accordance to GAAP, are researched and resolved in a timely manner, minimizing charge offs.
  • Maintains daily, weekly and monthly reporting of departmental activity.
  • Expedites accurate and timely remittances for all bank investors.
  • Review department operational procedures to identify and implement projects to reduce operational and FTE expenses and/or increase productivity.
  • Review, approve/reject requests for wire transfers to investors, ensuring adequate documentation, error free computations and accurate source and receiver information.
  • Interact with other departmental managers to ensure new servicing/reporting requirements are in place and functioning as expected.
  • Ability to independently solve complex problems and effectively report issues up to senior leaders.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback. Developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth. Developing and recruiting appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years Investor Reporting / Accounting experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience communicating with senior leaders such as presentations and written correspondence is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Proven leadership skills, initiative, analytical, and decisive decision-making skills are required.

Total Base Pay Range 82,100.00 - 172,500.00 USD Annual

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
